Conclusion
The Beatles were unusual because most rock was strong beat with no melody. The Beatles added melody to rock. The Beatles also added strong and meaningful lyrics. John Lennon wrote a book called "In His Own Write." The Beatles started a new era of music. They wore their hair long and shaggy. This haircut was known as the Beatles haircut. All across the world people started wearing their hair like the Beatles.

During 1962 a virtually unknown group from Liverpool arrived at Abbey Road studios in London to record their debut single. Seven years later, having changed the face of popluar music, they entered the same studios to record what would be their 13th and final LP. They were the Beatles then, and they still are the Beatles who take us back via the magic media of sound.
I am 20, and was born much too late to have ever even experienced the Beatles sensation caused when they were still together.
